Poor fit & Disappointing Customer Service Over a Simple Exchange

"I have never left a negative review before, but this experience has been incredibly frustrating, especially because what I’m asking for is so simple. I carefully measured my son and followed the company’s sizing chart before ordering a sweatshirt. Unfortunately, the material has absolutely no stretch or give, making it impossible for him to even get the sweatshirt on. I immediately contacted customer service to request an exchange for the next size up. I have never asked for a refund. I simply want a sweatshirt my son can actually wear. My first response from customer service was essentially to go look at their exchange policy online. My second response was a generic, canned message directing me to browse their website, with absolutely no acknowledgment of my exchange request. Since then, my attempts to communicate have gone unanswered. What makes this particularly frustrating is that I received this response once from customer service member, Cris, but no where on the site can I actually process an exchange: “To ensure a smooth and efficient process, we kindly ask that you access our dedicated Return Portal. Simply visit ***hcitalians.loopreturns.*** to initiate your return or exchange. Our user-friendly portal will guide you through the necessary steps to complete your request. Please have your order number and ZIP code ready for verification. If you encounter any issues or have any questions during the process, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our team is here to assist you every step of the way. Happy Italian Heritage Month, Cris Hardcore Italians Customer Support” I’m not looking to bash this company or receive special treatment. I’m simply asking them to exchange an item and provide reasonable customer service. It’s disappointing that something as straightforward as exchanging an unworn sweatshirt for a larger size has turned into such an unnecessarily difficult process. I would much rather be writing a positive review about how easily this was resolved. Unfortunately, the company’s customer service has made that impossible so far. I sincerely hope someone from the company will take the time to address this and help resolve what should have been a very simple exchange."
